Japanese Hand Massage

Japanese Hand Massage Diploma - one day

This is a massage of the arms and hands, based on the principles of traditional Oriental Massage. It combines manual massage with Shiatsu and Anma techniques. I offer it to clients as a stand-alone therapy AND as part of a deluxe manicure treatment.

Prices and dates are on the Home Page. If you wish to book one of the Japanese Hand Massage courses, please email us to arrange your place and pay your deposit.

If you are a Reiki practitioner, then Japanese Hand Massage would be an exciting way to start offering massage. Japanese Hand Massage would be a good place for any beginner to start exploring massage, especially if you are interested in learning Shiatsu.

This therapy is an unusual and exciting addition to the manicurist's range of treatment options. It would also be a valuable extra treatment for the reflexologist to offer.

Japanese Hand Massage is a unique blend of shiatsu and reflexology, and as well as relaxing the hands and making them more flexible and supple it will bring balance to the energies of the whole subtle body.

Our 1-day Japanese Hand Massage Diploma course is exclusive to tutors who work with London Therapists, and we aim to reintroduce the lost art of hand massage to the therapist’s repertoire!

If you are a nail technician or manicurist, Japanese Hand Massage will help tremendously to de-stress your client, open energy channels and create a feeling of well being. It is an unusual extra skill which gives your nail treatments real wow factor!

A Japanese Hand Massage lasts about 30 minutes.

We also teach Hand Reflexology, a nice way of introducing reflexology to your practice - this is a stand-alone course, or you could combine it with Foot Reflexology.

Hand Reflexology Diploma

Our Hand Reflexology course is suitable for both beginners and for experienced foot reflexologists.

Practical skills are taught in a tiny group from a tutor who is a practising therapist herself. Your training days will be spent learning the zones, reflexes and treatment techniques, practising them and putting them together into a full treatment.

We believe that complementary therapy treatments should be pleasurable for the client, and so we will introduce you to beautiful products you can obtain at trade prices to bring that extra something to your hand reflexology.

The course is accepted for insurance by Westminster Indemnity. If you wish to join or insure through the Beauty Guild/Guild of Holistic Therapists you will need to add on their online Anatomy & Physiology and Professional Standards courses and we can arrange this for you.

Hand Reflexology students receive a course manual containing all the information covered on the course along with a laminated set of Hand Reflexology charts to guide you in your practice. Everything that you need to carry out the treatments during the course is provided for you and we give you suppliers’ lists so you can source and purchase everything you need to start offering hand reflexology treatments.
